Apricot Chews Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 lb. dried apricots, soaked in water to cover for 30 minutes | ||
| Pitted dates | 1/2 Pound | |
| Honey | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut shreds | ||
Directions
Force dried fruits through a food chopper or grinder, using a coarse blade.
Gradually blend honey into ground fruit mixture.
Add coconut shreds and mix thoroughly.
Press mixture into a lightly oiled, 9 inch square pan.
Place in refrigerator to chill, about one hour.
Remove from refrigerator and cut into bars or squares and serve.
