Apricot Buttermilk Mold Recipe
This Apricot Buttermilk Mold completes my dinner in a special way ! The sourish taste of buttermilk blends very well with the Apricots to make a mouthwatering dessert ! Just try out these molded delights and tell me if you like them !
Ingredients
| 12 apricots (1 pound), pitted | ||
| Boiling water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cold water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Unflavored gelatin | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Buttermilk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Artificial sweetener to equal 1/4 cup sugar | ||
| Lemon extract | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla extract | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cook apricots in boiling water in covered saucepan until tender (about 5 minutes).
Drain, reserving cooking liquid.
Pour tea into blender container, sprinkle gelatin over it, and add hot liquid left from cooking apricots.
Run blender to dissolve gelatin.
Add remaining ingredients including cooked apricots.
Blend until fruit is pureed.
Pour evenly into 4 small molds and chill until firm, about 3 hours.
Unmold.
