Apricot Bars Recipe
Apricot Bars has a grand taste. Apricot Bars gets its taste from apricot mixed with oats and flavored with vanilla extracts. Apricot Bars is inspired by many bakeries around the world.
Ingredients
2 eggs
1 cup no sugar added apricot fruit spread
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all purpose flour
2/3 cup uncooked rolled oats
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon mace
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Beat eggs in large bowl.
Blend in fruit spread, butter and vanilla.
Add flour, oats, baking powder, salt and spices; mix well.
Spread dough into greased 12 x 8 inch baking dish.
Bake 18 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Cool completely on wire rack.
Cut into bars.
Store in airtight container.
