Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream butter & sugar; stir in egg.
Sift together dry ingredients (except oats); add to creamed mixture alternately with applesauce and oats.
Beat well.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Drop by tsp. into greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees about 15 minutes.
Keeps well not too sweet and kids love them.
