Applesauce Walnut Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup margarine, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups uncooked rolled oats
1/2 cup diced apples
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Spray baking sheets with vegetable cooking spray.
Beat margarine and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until creamy.
Beat in egg whites; stir in applesauce.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices and salt in medium bowl; stir into applesauce mixture.
Stir in oats, apples, raisins and walnuts.
Drop by level tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks; completely.
Store in airtight container.
