Applesauce Raisin Bread Recipe
Ingredients

| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup acceptable vegetable oil | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cloves | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 egg, slightly beaten | ||
| Raisins | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 325° F.
Lightly spray an 8-x-4-inch loaf pan with vegetable oil.
In a large mixing bowl, mix applesauce, oil and sugar.
Sift in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, mixing well after each addition.
Add egg and raisins.
Mix well.
Pour into prepared loaf pan.
Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.
