Applesauce Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup(16 tbs), softened | |

| Nuts | 1/4 Cup(16 tbs), chopped | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In large bowl cream butter or margarine and sugar till light and fluffy.
Add 3/4 cup of the flour; mix till crumbly.
Set aside 1/2 cup of the crumb mixture for topping.
To the remaining crumb mixture add the beaten eggs and vanilla; beat till smooth.
Stir together remaining 1 cup flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add flour mixture and applesauce alternately to the creamed mixture, stirring after each addition.
Turn into greased 8x8x2-inch baking pan.
Stir nuts and cinnamon into reserved crumb topping; sprinkle atop coffee cake.
Bake in 375° oven for 30 minutes or till done.
