Spiced Apple Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 cups peeled, cored, and sliced cooking apples | ||
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg | ||
Directions
In 2-quart microproof casserole, mix apples, water, and lemon juice.
Cook, covered, on HI (max. power) 10 to 12 minutes, or until apples are tender.
Stir in remaining ingredients until smooth.
Serve warm or cold with pork or as a light dessert.
