Appleberry Crisp Recipe

Ingredients
5 cups sliced peeled cored apples 1.25 L
1 cup each frozen raspberries and blueberries 250 mL
1 tbsp packed brown sugar 15 mL
1 tbsp all purpose flour 15 mL
Topping
1/2 cup packed brown sugar 125 mL
1/2 cup all purpose flour 125 mL
1/2 cup rolled oats 125 mL
1 tsp cinnamon 5 mL
1 tsp finely grated orange rind 5 mL
1/4 cup butter, softened 50 mL
1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts 75 mL
Directions
In buttered 8 inch (2 L) square baking dish, toss together apples, raspberries, blueberries, sugar and flour; set aside.
TOPPING: In bowl, combine sugar, flour, rolled oats, cinnamon and orange rind.
With pastry blender or fingertips, work in butter until crumbly; sprinkle over fruit.
Sprinkle with hazelnuts.
Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until browned and fruit is fork tender.
