Apple Torte Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| 1 t.vanilla | ||
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 t.baking soda | ||
| 1/4 t.salt | ||
| 1 t.cinnamon | ||
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Tablespoon | |
| Apples | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Walnuts | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
Add flour mixture and stir well.
(Batter will be stiff).
Add chopped apples and nuts.
Bake in a greased 8" x 8" pan at 350 ° for 45 minutes.
Serve at room temperature with whipped cream or ice cream.
