Apple-Stuffed Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients
4 pork chops, 1 in. thick
1 tart apple, sliced
2 tsp. (packed) brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
Directions
Cut chops along bone to form pocket; season with salt and pepper.
Fill with mixture of apple slices and brown sugar.
Dip chops into mixture of egg and 1 tablespoon water.
Roll chops in corn flakes; brown in hot fat in skillet.
Add 1 cup water.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender, adding water, if necessary.
