Apple Slush Recipe
This delightful drunk is a super hit my place in the summer. Made with blended apples and lemon juice for a hint of tang, this apple slush recipe is a sure fire summer cooler to refresh you straight away.
Ingredients
| 2 20 ounce cans sliced apples | ||
| Apple juice concentrate | 1 6 Ounce, frozen | |
| 1 6 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate | ||
| Lemon lime carbonated beverage, carbonated water, apple wine, or dry white wine, chilled | ||
Directions
In a blender container combine one can of the undrained apples and half of each fruit juice concentrate.
Cover and blend till smooth.
Pour the mixture into a 1 quart freezer container.
Repeat with the remaining apples and juice concentrates.
Seal, label, and freeze.
To serve, let the frozen apple mixture stand at room temperature about 30 minutes or till slushy; transfer to a serving container.
Garnish the mixture with an apple slice dipped in lemon juice, if desired.
For each serving, half fill an 8 ounce glass with the slush.
Slowly pour in carbonated beverage or wine; stir to blend.
Cover and blend till smooth.
