Apple-Sausage Stuffing Recipe
|Diced bacon||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mushrooms||1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
|Apples||2 , cored and cut into 0.5 inch pieces|
|Chopped parsley||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|White bread loaf||1 , cut into 1 inch cubes|
|Chicken broth||2 Cup (32 tbs)|

Remove sausage and cut into 1" pieces.
Replace in skillet; add onion, celery, mushrooms, apples, parsley & herbs.
Saute for 5 minutes.
Stir in bread cubes and broth.
Season with salt & pepper to taste.
Pour into a bowl; cover and cool.
Will stuff a 10 to 12 lb.turkey or bake in a 2 quart casserole for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
