Apple And Honey Pie Recipe
Ingredients

| All purpose flour | 375 Milliliter | |
| 2 mL 1/2 tsp salt | ||
| 125 mL 1/2 cup butter | ||
| 125 mL 1/2 cup water, very cold | ||
| All purpose flour | 25 Milliliter (Filling) | |
| 2 mL 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground | ||
| Nutmeg | 1 Pinch (Filling) | |
| 6 to 8 apples, peeled and sliced | ||
| 75 mL 1/3 cup honey | ||
| 15 mL 1 tbsp butter | ||
Directions
Dough Combine the flour, salt and butter in an electric mixer and blend until thick and slightly lumpy.
Add water while mixing, until the dough forms a ball.
Remove the dough, powder slightly with flour and cover with plastic wrap.
Set aside in the refrigerator for at least a 1/2 hour.
Filling Combine the flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl and mix well.
Add the apple slices and mix until all are thoroughly covered.
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
Using a roller, roll the kneaded dough until it is 1/2 cm (1/4") thick and 30 cm (12") in diameter.
Place the rolled dough in a quiche pan or a pie plate approximately 25 cm (10") in diameter, letting the excess dough hang over the edges.
Fill the dish with the apple mixture, then cover it with honey and sprinkle with small bits of butter.
Lift the edges of the dough and fold inward, forming a border around the edge of the apples.
Cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
Reduce the temperature to 180°C (350°F) and cook for another 30 minutes.
Let refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving.
