Apple Kuchen Recipe
My love for Apple Kuchen developed during high school days. The primary ingredient in this is Apple. Apple Kuchen goes perfectly as Dessert. Try it and if you adore this Apple Kuchen, then tell your friends about it.
Ingredients
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg yolk
Dash of salt
4 or 5 apples, peeled, cored, and cut into eighths
Sugar and cinnamon (be generous)
Custard
2 eggs, well-beaten
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Mix flour with sugar.
Cut in butter.
Add egg yolk and salt; mix well.
Pat into 8 inch-pie plate.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Prepare apples; place in even rows in prepared pie plate.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Mix together all custard ingredients well; pour over apples.
Bake in preheated 375°F toaster oven 20 minutes.
Reduce heat to 300°F; bake for another 25 minutes or until crust is browned.
