Apple Dessert Recipe

Directions

Core the apples.
Boil for 1 minute the sugar and water in a saucepan large enough to hold the apples.
Place the apples into the syrup and simmer on top of the stove with the lid on until tender.
Remove and place on a serving dish.
Add to the syrup the lemon juice, grated orange rind and juice and the nuts.
Pour over the apples.
Chill, then baste several times with the syrup.
