Apple Crunch Salad Recipe
Ingredients
1 (6-ounce) package lemon-flavored gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced red delicious apple, unpeeled
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded American cheese
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, add cold water, lemon juice, and salt.
Chill until the consistency of unbeaten egg white.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into a lightly oiled 8-inch square dish.
Cover and chill until firm.
