4 cups peeled sliced apples
2. teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 cup brown sugar, lirmly packed
1/3 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon mixed nutmeg and cinnamon

Line 9-inch pie plate.
Arrange apples in pastry, and sprinkle with lemon juice.

Reduce heat to 350 °F., and bake until apples are tender, about 20 minutes.
