Apple Crisp Recipe
Ingredients
5 or 6 medium tart apples
1/4 cup water 50 mL
1 tsp cinnamon 5 mL
1/4 tsp salt 1 mL
1/3 cup butter or margarine 75 mL
1 cup brown sugar 250 mL
3/4 cup all purpose flour 175 mL
Directions
Pare and slice apples into a buttered casserole.
Drizzle with water and sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
Rub remaining ingredients together and crumble over the top.
Bake at 350F (180C) for 40 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender.
