Apple Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Apples | 3 Pound | |
| Onions | 1 Pound | |
| Tomatoes | 1 Pound | |
| 1 lb. yellow raisins | ||
| Crystallized ginger | 1/4 Pound | |
| Almonds | 1/4 Pound | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Pound | |
| Ground ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| White vinegar | 1 Quart | |
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
Peel and chop apples, onions and tomatoes.
Chop raisins, crystallized ginger and almonds.
Combine brown sugar, ground ginger, mustard, salt, cayenne pepper and vinegar with fruits, vegetables, ginger and almonds in large kettle.
Blend thoroughly.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Simmer for 3 hours.
Seal in steril- ized jars.
