Directions for preparation:

• Preheat oven to 350 F.
• Mix together the apple sauce, butter and egg with a whisk or a mixer.
• Mix together the flour, cinnamon powder, baking soda, salt separately.
• Now mix the dry and moist ingredients together and add the chopped apples. Mix.
• Add the chopped walnuts. Mix well.
• Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for 45, till a knife inserted comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
• Serve fresh from the oven.
