| 1 cup cooked or canned mashed pumpkin | ||
| Brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Evaporated milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell | ||
Directions
Combine apple butter, pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cin- namon, nutmeg and ginger.
Beat eggs and stir into mixture.
Gradually add evaporated milk and mix thoroughly.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake in a hot oven (425° F) 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in pie comes out clean.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
