Apple Streusel Mince Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Apples | 3 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| 3 tablespoons all-purpose, self-rising or unbleached flour | ||
| Butter margarine | 2 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Pie crust | 9 inch | |
| 1 jar (27 ounces) ready-to-use mincemeat | ||
| 1/2 cup all-purpose, self-rising or unbleached flour | ||
| 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar | ||
| Ground cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1/3 cup firm margarine or butter | ||
| Nuts | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
Heat oven to 425°.
Mix apple slices, 3 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons margarine; turn into pie crust.
Spoon mincemeat over apple mixture.
Mix 1/2 cup flour, the brown sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl.
Cut in 1/3 cup margarine until crumbly; stir in nuts.
Sprinkle over mincemeat.
Bake 10 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 375°.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown.
Cool before cutting.
