Ingredients

 Peanut butter1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Pitted dates2 Tablespoon, chopped
 Honey1 Tablespoon
 Lemon juice
 3 medium apples, cored and halved lengthwise

Directions

In a small mixing bowl combine peanut butter, dates, and honey, then stir till well blended.
Brush lemon juice onto cut surfaces of apples to prevent browning. Fill the center of each apple half with about 1 tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture. Place each apple half in a paper bake cup, then put apples in a covered container. Chill till serving time.
For a take-along party, just before leaving home, pack container of apples in an insulated chest with ice packs.
