Apple Rhubarb Tart Recipe
Apple Rhubarb Tart has a wonderful taste. Apple Rhubarb Tart get its taste from pie crust filled with eggs and cream, flavored with rum. Apple Rhubarb Tart is inspired by many cafeteria worldwide.
Ingredients
1 9 inch pie crust
3 cups rhubarb, cut into pieces
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp dark rum
2 apples, peeled, very thinly sliced
1/2 cup apricot glaze
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
Line a springform pan with crust.
In a saucepan, bring to a boil rhubarb, 2/3 cup (160 mL) sugar and water.
Cover.
Boil 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Let cool.
In a bowl, half whip cream.
Add remaining sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla extract and rum.
Whip fully.
Fold in cooked rhubarb.
Pour into crust.
Cover with sliced apples.
Bake in oven 35 minutes.
lower oven temperature to 300 °F (150 °C).
Bake 5 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Let cool.
Cover with apricot glaze.
