Ingredients

 All purpose flour2 Cup (16 tbs)

 1 teaspoon apple pie spice or 1/2 teaspoon each ground cinnamon and nutmeg
 1/3 cup egg substitute or 1 large egg, beaten
 1 cup nonfat milk or rice milk
 Vanilla extract1 Teaspoon
 Almond extract1/2 Teaspoon
 1 tablespoon thinly sliced and snipped or grated orange zest
 1/3 cup soft tub margarine or butter, melted
 Apples2 Large
 32 golden raisins (please count them)
 Walnuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°.
Oil or spray a 9 x 9 x 2-inch ovenproof dish or baking pan.
In a large bowl, sift together flour and baking powder.
Add sugar substitute and spice.
Whisk together until thoroughly mixed.
In a large bowl, use a fork or whisk to beat together egg substitute, milk, vanilla, almond extract, orange zest, and margarine.
Stir in apple pieces raisins, and walnuts.
Mix well.
Pour all at once into the dry ingredients.
Stir and mix until all flour is moistened.
Mixture will be thick and chunky.
Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread out evenly.
Bake 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool for 15 minutes.
Cut into 16 squares.
Squares will have tasty, moist centers.
