 Apples6 Cup (96 tbs), sliced (peeled, cored)
 Water1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Lemon juice1 Tablespoon
 Powdered pectin1 Packet
 Lemon1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), thinly sliced
 Sugar4 Cup (64 tbs)
 Nutmeg2 Teaspoon

Directions

Combine apples, water and lemon juice in a large sauce pot.
Simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
Stir in pectin and bring to a rolling boil, stirring frequently.
Add lemon slices and sugar.
Return to a rolling boil.
Boil hard 1 minute, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat; add nutmeg.
Pour hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch head space.
Adjust caps.
Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
