Almond Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients
| Butter | 4 Ounce (Pie Dough:) | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (Pie Dough:) | |
| Cold water | 1 Tablespoon (Pie Dough:) | |
| Vanilla cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Filling:) | |
| 6 firm, sourish apples (pared, cored, in wedges) | ||
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon (Filling:) | |
| Cinnamon | 1/2 Tablespoon (Filling:) | |
| Shredded almonds | ||
Directions
1. Combine the flour and the butter on the pastry board to a fine grainy mixture, add water, and work the pastry together quickly. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
2. Roll out the pastry and line the bottom and the sides to a pie mold with it. Prick the bottom with a fork. Bake the pie crust in a 400°F oven for about 15 minutes. Let it cool.
3. Pour the vanilla cream into the mold and top with apple wedges. Sprinkle on sugar, cinnamon, and shredded almonds.
4. Bake the pie in a 400°F oven for about 20 minutes.
