Apple Peanut Crumble Recipe
Ingredients
| 5 cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced | ||
| Packed brown sugar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats | ||
| Ground cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon, freshly grated | |
| 1/3 cup margarine or butter, room temperature | ||
| Peanut butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.In a bowl, put sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and nutmeg and add margarine or butter, peanut butter with crumbled pastry and mix all well.
MAKING
2.In a slow cooker, place apple and pour the bowl mixture.
3.Close the cokker and put it on LOW for 5-6 hrs.
SERVING
4.Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
