Apple Orange Brownies Recipe

| Baking soda | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Walnuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped |

Directions
Add brown sugar.
Stir till sugar is blended.
Cool.
Beat in applesauce, eggs, orange peel, and vanilla.
Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
Stir into applesauce mixture.
Stir in nuts.
Spread in greased 15 1/2x10 1/2x1-inch jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350°, 25 to 30 minutes.
