Apple Omelette Recipe
Ingredients
4 eggs
1 tbsp (15 ml) flour
1 tbsp (15 ml) sugar
3 tbsp (45 ml) milk
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
Garnish
2 apples, sliced
2 tbsp (30 ml) Calvados (or Cognac)
2 tsp (10 ml) icing sugar
Directions
– Beat eggs in a bowl. Add flour, sugar, and milk and mix well.
– In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp (15 ml) butter. Cook sliced apples until golden. Add 1 tbsp (15 ml) Calvados or Cognac and set aside.
– In a separate skillet, melt rest of butter and cook eggs over medium heat.
– Spread cooked apple slices over omelet. Place garnished omelet on a warm serving dish and fold in half. Sprinkle with icing sugar. Pour rest of Calvados or Cognac over apple-stuffed omelet and flambe.
