Apple Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
This recipe of Apple Oatmeal Cookies was picked up by me from a gourmet magazine, I twisted it a little bit to meet my taste here I am, sharing my version with you. It is an effortless Dessert. It is full of flavor in spite of being a Diabetic recipe. Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp apple-pie spices
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup margarine
1/3 cup granulated sugar replacement
2 tsp granulated fructose
1/4 cup water
1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
1/3 cup unsweetened dried apple slices, ground fine
Directions
Sift together flour, apple-pie spices, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
Beat margarine, sugar replacement, and fructose until mixture is light and fluffy.
Add water and beat well.
Gradually add flour mixture to creamed mixture.
Stir to blend completely.
Stir in oatmeal.
Divide dough in half.
Roll out dough on a floured surface to a scant 1/4 in. (8 mm) thickness.
Cut into 18 forms, using a floured 2 in. (5 cm) cutter.
Place on a greased cookie sheet.
Roll out remaining dough and repeat cutting.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Move to cooling rack.
