Ingredients
1 cup pancake mix
2/3 cup milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Cooking oil
4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
Directions
Combine first 4 ingredients.
Beat till smooth.
Combine sugar and cinnamon; pour into small bowls or shakers.
Pour cooking oil into fondue cooker to no more than 1/2 capacity or to depth of 2 inches.
Heat over range to 375°.
Transfer cooker to fondue burner.
Spear apple with fondue fork; dip into batter.
Fry in hot oil till golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes.
Sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture.
