Apple Dessert Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Apples | 1 Can (10oz), sliced | |
| Apple Juice | 1 Quart | |
| Whole cranberry sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Vanilla bean piece | 2 | |
| Firmly packed light brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Granulated sugar | ||
| Whipped cream | ||
| Nutmeg or cinnamon | ||
Directions
Mix first 5 ingredients in saucepan.
Bring to boil and simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with water.
Add to fruit mixture.
Bring to boil, stirring.
Boil a few minutes, or until clear and slightly thickened.
Remove vanilla bean, pour mixture into serving bowl and sprinkle top lightly with granulated sugar.
Cool; top each serving with dab of whipped cream.
