Apple Dessert Cake Recipe

| 440 g (14 oz) canned apple slices, drained | ||
| Apricot jam | 4 Tablespoon, melted | |
Directions
1. Combine mixed spice with butter cake mix, then make up following packet directions. Fold in coconut.
2. Spoon half the cake mix into a lightly greased and lined 20 cm (8 in) round cake tin, top with half the apples and remaining cake mix. Arrange remaining apple slices.
3. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until cake is cooked when tested. Brush with jam.
