Apple Curry Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 whole chicken breasts, split, skinned and boned | ||
| Apple Juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| 1 1/2 cups plain croutons | ||
| 1 medium-size apple, chopped | ||
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Raisins | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Poultry seasoning | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Lightly grease shallow baking dish.
Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer in prepared pan.
Combine 1/4 cup of the apple juice, the salt and pepper in small bowl.
Brush all of mixture over chicken.
Combine croutons, apple, onion, raisins, sugar, curry powder, poultry seasoning and garlic powder in large bowl.
Stir in remaining 3/4 cup apple juice; spread over chicken.
Cover; bake about 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Garnish as desired
