Apple Cinnamon Crisp Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb. cooking apples | ||
| Flour | 3 Ounce | |
| Sugar | 2 Ounce | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Ounce | |
| Water | 1/8 Pint | |
Directions
Peel and slice the apples finely and put in a baking dish.
Sprinkle with the cinnamon and add the water.
Mix the flour and sugar and rub in the fat until the mixture looks like fine crumbs.
Sprinkle on top of the fruit and bake in a slow moderate oven until golden brown.
Do not have the oven too hot or the juice will bubble up and spoil the top.
