Apple Crisp Recipe
I have a recipe which is very near and dear to my heart and that is of Apple Crisp. It is always prepared with a focus on Apple. Best enjoyed as a Dessert this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. It is a good option for those who are on Diabetic diet. I will look forward to your feedback.
Ingredients
4 cup apples, sliced
1/4 cup water
1 tsp molasses
3 pkts. concentrated acesulfame-K
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
3/4 cup oatmeal
2 tsp margarine or butter
2 pkts. concentrated acesulfame-K
Directions
Combine the apples, water, molasses, acesulfame-K, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves.
Mix well.
Arrange the apple mixture in an 8 in. (20 cm) square baking dish coated with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle the mixture over the apples.
Bake at 375°F 190°C) for 30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is lightly browned.
