Apple Cream Pie Recipe
Apple Cream Pie has a divine taste. Apple Cream Pie get its taste from pie crust filled with apples, eggs and cream, glazed with apricot. Apple Cream Pie is inspired by many bakeries worldwide.
Ingredients
1 9 inch pie crust
4 apples, peeled, finely sliced
2 egg yolks
4 tsp sugar
2 drops of vanilla extract
2/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup apricot glaze
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
Line a pie pan with crust.
Set aside.
Arrange concentric circles of apples over crust.
Bake in oven 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix egg yolks, sugar and vanilla extract.
Fold in cream.
Remove pie from oven.
Cover with cream mixture.
Return to oven approximately 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Let cool 10 minutes.
Unmold.
Cover with apricot glaze, if desired.
