Apple Cream Cheese Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 medium-size tart apple, cored and cut into 1/4-inch slices | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cream cheese | 4 Ounce, softened | |
| Honey | 4 Teaspoon | |
| 8 slices plain or toasted pumpernickel or raisin bread | ||
Directions
1. In a mixing bowl, toss the apple slices with the lemon juice, and set aside.
2. Mix the cream cheese with the honey in a small bowl, and spread the mixture on 4 slices of the bread. Drain the apples, and place them on the cream cheese. Top with the remaining bread.
