 Vegetable oil spray
 1/3 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
 1/3 cup quick-cooking oatmeal

 All purpose flour1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking powder2 1/2 Teaspoon
 Cinnamon1/2 Teaspoon
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 egg white, beaten until frothy
 1/4 cup acceptable vegetable oil
 Skim milk3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Granny smith apple1 , grated
 Vanilla extract1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Preheat oven to 375° F.
Lightly spray a 9-x-9-x-2-inch square pan with vegetable oil.
Mix together brown sugar, oatmeal, 1 1/2 tablespoons flour and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Add melted margarine to form crumb topping.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, sift together remaining flour, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and sugar.
Set aside.
In another bowl, combine egg white, oil, milk, apple and vanilla.
Mix until well blended.
Add to dry ingredients.
Stir lightly, just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Pour into prepared pan.
Sprinkle topping over cake and bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Remove from oven, cut into nine squares and serve hot.
