| 1/2 cup's All Purpose or Unbleached Flour | ||
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |

| Lemon peel | 1/2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Milk | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
In large skillet, saute apples in margarine until crisp-tender Heat oven to 350°F.
Grease 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole.
Layer apples in prepared casserole; top with bread cubes.
In small bowl, beat eggs until well blended.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off Add flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, vanilla and lemon peel; mix well.
Beat in milk.
Pour over bread cubes.
Bake at 350°F. for 45 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let stand 15 minutes.
? MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In 2-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine apples and margarine.
Microwave on HIGH for 2 to 3 minutes or until apples are crisp-tender; stirring once halfway through cooking.

In 4-cup microwave-safe measuring cup, microwave milk on HIGH until very warm, about 2 minutes.
