Apple Cinnamon Pancakes Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup low-fat buttermilk | ||
| 1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce | ||
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 large egg, lightly beaten | ||
| 1/2 cup diced Braeburn apple | ||
| Cooking spray | ||
Directions
1. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir with a whisk. Combine buttermilk and next 4 ingredients in a small bowl; stir with a whisk until smooth. Add buttermilk mixture to flour mixture; stir until smooth. Stir in apple.
2. Spoon about 1/2 cup batter onto a hot nonstick griddle or nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked
