Apple Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Apples | 1 Kilogram | |
| 2-3 cups sugar, depending on tartness of apples | ||
| Onions | 250 Gram | |
| Ginger | 150 Gram | |
| Garlic | 100 Gram | |
| 15 gm dried red chillies or 3 teaspoons chilly powder | ||
| Vinegar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 40 Gram | |
Directions
1. Clean and grate the apples. Chop the onions, ginger and garlic. Pound the red chillies.
2. Add the chopped ingredients, chilly powder and 1 cup of vinegar to the grated apples and cook until the apples and onions have become soft and the mixture is almost dry.
3. Now add the sugar, salt and the other cup of vinegar. Cook further until the mixture is of a chutney consistency.
4. Remove from fire, cool and bottle.
