Apple Garlic Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Apples, peeled and finely chopped 1.4Kg | ||
| Onions | 450 , finely chopped | |
| Brown sugar | 700 | |
| Sultanas | 225 | |
| Vinegar | 300 | |
| Salt | 20 To taste | |
| Cayenne pepper good pinch | ||
| Cloves of garlic, crushed 2 | ||
| Spice | 10 | |
| Ginger root piece | 1 | |
Directions
Put into the Slow cooker the apples, onions, sugar, sultanas, vinegar, salt, cayenne pepper and garlic.
Tie the spices and root ginger in a muslin bag and add to the pot.
Stir thoroughly until the sugar is dissolved.
Cook for recommended time.
Remove the bag of spices.
Stir well.
Pour into heated jars and cover.
