 Apples1 Pound, chopped
 Onions4 Ounce, chopped
 Sultanas3 Ounce
 Cider vinegar1/4 Pint
 Sugar in the raw2 Ounce
 Ground ginger1/4 Teaspoon
 Sea salt1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Cook the apple, onion, sultanas (golden seedless raisins) and dates in the vinegar until soft.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
Bring to the boil and simmer until you have a thick chutney.
Put into clean, hot jars and allow to cool before covering.
