Apple Cheese Soup Recipe
Ingredients
2 apples, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 can (11 ounces) Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup/Sauce
3/4 cup milk
Sour cream or plain yogurt for garnish
Directions
In 2-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine apples, water, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Cover with lid; micro wave on HIGH 5 minutes or until apples are very tender, stirring once during cooking.
Stir soup into apple mixture.
In covered blender or food processor, blend soup mixture until smooth.
Return to casserole.
Stir in milk.
Cover; microwave on HIGH 3 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
Garnish with sour cream and additional nutmeg.
