Apple Cake with Nut Topping Recipe
Ingredients
| Cooking oil | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 , beaten | |
| Flour | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Walnuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Chopped | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Light brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping:) | |
| Butter stick/Margarine | 1 (Topping:) | |
| Orange juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping:) |
Directions
Mix oil, sugar, and eggs and blend well.
Add dry ingredients and vanilla by hand.
Blend in nuts and apples.
Spoon batter into a well-greased tube or bundt pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and pour topping over cake.
Return cake to oven and bake 15 minutes more.
Cool on wire rack.
Slide knife around cake to loosen.
For topping- Cook over low heat for 3 minutes after the mixture starts boiling.
Pour over cake and continue as directed.
