Apple and Stilton Toasts Recipe
Ingredients

| Butter margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Stilton or Danish blue cheese - 1/4 cup, crumbled | ||
| Cottage cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bread slice | 4 | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the broiler to temperature of high.
2) Quarter the apples and core and pare them.
MAKING
3) In a skillet, melt the margarine.
4) Add the apple slice and cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes, till the apples and puffy and golden.
5) Transfer the cooked apples to a plate with the help of a spatula.
6) Into a bowl, put the Stilton cheese and add the cottage cheese. With a fork, mix the ingredients together thoroughly.
7) Toast the bread on 1 side only and on the untoasted side, place the cooked apples. Top with the cottage cheese and Stilton mixture.
8) Put the prepared slices on the preheated broiler and toast for about 5 minutes, till the cheese is golden and bubbling.
9) If preferred, cut the crusts of the cooked toast.
SERVING
10) Place the hot toasts on a serving platter, slice the remaining apples and garnish toasts with them. Serve right away, while still hot. Can be served as an appetizer, snack or even a side dish.
