Apple And Pear Ginger Trifle Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 medium cooking apple, peeled, cored and sliced | ||
| Pear | 1 Medium, peeled | |
| Cider | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Soft brown sugar | 25 Gram | |
| Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 3 slices ginger cake, cut in half | ||
| Whipping cream | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Icing Sugar | 2 Teaspoon, sifted | |
| Chopped nuts | 1 Tablespoon, toasted | |
Directions
Place the apple and pear in a saucepan with the cider, brown sugar and ginger.
Cook gently until the fruit is just tender.
Leave to cool.
Arrange the cake in individual glass serving dishes and spoon the fruit and cooking liquid over the top.
Lightly whip the cream and fold in the icing sugar.
Spoon over the fruit and sprinkle with the nuts
